10 Sept 2021 - Reminder to prayer request.

1 day ago, I posted in our Cg chatgroup some prayer requests. And Helen replied with the following. 


Praise God for CG. It’s their love, their reminder, pointing me back to Jesus that gives me the courage to continue living and believing  


God sees everything you’re going through. “The eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love” (Psalm 33:18 NIV). 

God cares about everything you’re going through. “But I will watch for the LORD; I will wait confidently for God, who will save me. My God will hear me” (Micah 7:7 GNT). 

God has the power to change what you’re going through. “Ask, and you will be given what you ask for. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened” (Matthew 7:7 TLB). 

God always acts out of his goodness to you. “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28 NIV). 

God's plan is always better than your plan. "For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the LORD. ‘They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope" (Jeremiah 29:11 NLT). 

God will never stop loving you. “For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain” (Isaiah 54:10 NLT). 

Once you have put your trust in Jesus Christ, you cannot lose your salvation. “I know the one in whom I trust, and I am sure that he is able to safely guard all that I have given him until the day of his return" (2 Timothy 1:12 TLB). 

No matter what you go through, God is with you. "When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up—the flames will not consume you" (Isaiah 43:2 TLB).



My requests 

morning all! can i get some prayers on 3 things please. 

1. I had a bad fall yesterday. no major sprains or anything but the foot and body is still aching from the impact. can't walk properly cos left foot still pain. Just started going to the gym so this is setting me back 2 steps. 


2. i'm looking to change jobs and change industry. Need a miracle. In singapore, i'm considered without experience. and whatever experience that is not of my current job, is from 8 years ago. 😞

i'm believing God for open doors for not just a new job but a new position. A position of impact and influence. 


3. Healing - emotionally, mentally, spiritually. So i can recognise the open doors for relationships and close doors for relationships that will be harmful to me.

10 June 2021 - Reflections (Confusion)

 Perhaps I placed my hopes too high. I was pleasantly surprised when Joel texted me out of the blue. But of cos things didn't progress. Call it bad timing or not fated. Perhaps he is the jinx, since events got in his way of his previous relationship that could have been a marriage.  TATs were saying he probably contacted me cos he was horny. Which... I can't see the sense in that, cos he didn't ask me out and didn't make a move on me. And it has been a month since he contacted me.  And I asked how come he disappeared on me in Oct and his excuse is that he got too busy. M says its irresponsible and he takes people for granted. I don't know anymore. Cos I can't tell who is right or wrong and what is true and false.  I just wish my brain would stop thinking and not place any hopes on a relationship with him. Did God hear my prayer? (16 Feb 2021)

 Its not too long ago that I cried out to God, asking for direction in my current situation regarding - finances, career and relationships.  As I started feeling left out and clueless what to do, today i get news that Melvin wants to do some "restructuring" and that we are to advise on the areas that we want to focus on. This also means I do not need to have a chat with SY about what I want to do now. And I get to do more international projects that usually do not involve us. And I also get to choose the territories I am interested in.  Relationship wise, I guess as God starts cleaning out my insides, I would be able to love myself more and not be such an angry person. As he lets me realise more things about myself, that probably helps me to cope wth my emotions and respond better rather than react from being triggered.
